C.J.G. (Gerhard) Le Roux PR Eng. (Reg nr 930 202) registered as a professional Civil Engineer in May 1993. Gerhard started his own consulting business in 1996 on a part time basis and went full time in 1998. The consultancy was initially run as a one member CC under his own name but was converted to a private company in 2011. Gerhard is assisted on a full time basis by Bennie Badenhorst (B. tech) with the structural work and by Eugene Marais (B. tech) with the civil work. In addition two Engineering technicians (one Civil and one Structural), as well as a draftsperson, are also employed on a full time basis to enhance our capacity and enable us to provide quick and effective service. We also work in association with other companies and specialist professionals when it is necessary to further expand our capacity. Andre Lochner is a professional Engineer and retired (Chief) Town Engineer of the City of Tshwane. Andre is well connected with the City Council and his inputs in negotiating value for money solutions with the City Council are invaluable. Braam Marais is a professional Engineer, and is highly experienced in the design of major municipal and provincial roads. We also have a co–operation agreement with a larger civil consultancy company, Civil Consult, which enables us to expand our capacity significantly as and when required.
