Construction of a wire rod facility at the TFZ plant, including ongoing refurbishments and the development of a roof solar plant at the Prampram facility in the Tema Free Zone, Tema Ghana. Project cost is expected to be US$50mln. Scope of works could include: refurbishing and re-purposing of a newly acquired Steel Plant at Tema Freezone to produce rebars and wire rod coil, installation of a wire rod mill at Tema Freezone, development of a 10 MW solar plant in the Prampram facility and funding for working capital. The exact GPS location is not known and the Marker has been placed at the TFZ plant in the Tema Free Zone Enclave, 5.6998042, 0.0042697.
