Construction of Bendor Secondary School on erf 387, Bendor, Polokwane, Limpopo. CIDB 9GB. Scope of works includes: Construction of a new educational facility comprising 34 ordinary classrooms, a large administration block, nutrition centre, science and life sciences laboratory complex, and a computer laboratory and media centre complex. The works further include the construction of a multi-purpose school hall, two multi-purpose classrooms, educator and learner ablution facilities, including accessible toilets for persons with disabilities. External works comprise the provision of 35 paved parking bays of which 25 will be covered, a paved assembly area, steel palisade perimeter fencing, and a guardhouse. Bulk water infrastructure includes the drilling and equipping of a borehole and the installation of a 100kL elevated steel water storage tank. Sanitary facilities include: Male educators: 3 waterborne toilet seats and 3 urinals, female educators: 4 waterborne toilet seats and 1 accessible toilet, female learners: 12 waterborne toilet seats and 1 accessible toilet. The project also includes all associated civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, drainage, and external works necessary for the complete and functional facility.
