Construction of Diepsloot reservoir No 2, Diepsloot Tower and associated infrastructure at the Diepsloot Reservoir Complex, on Portion 101 and 102 of Knopjeslaagte No. 385 JR, Tanganani Ext 14, Johannesburg, Gauteng. Construction, completion, testing, commissioning, and handover of new bulk water infrastructure. This facility is part of the Tanganani Mega City Project and will enhance the bulk water storage capacity servicing the surrounding extensions and the broader northern Johannesburg region. Scope of works: Construction of a new circular reinforced and post-tensioned concrete 15 Ml reservoir, bulk steel and OPVC pipelines connecting the reservoir, pump station, tower, and distribution network, a new precast concrete elevated water tower and a dedicated booster pump station supplying the tower from the new reservoir. The proposed reservoir is located along Summit Road (R562), between Diepsloot and Olievenhoutbosch. The site lies on a gently sloping terrain from approximately 1516m to 1514m AMSL, declining in a south-westerly direction. The proposed reservoir will be constructed adjacent to the existing 25ML reservoir. The GPS co-ordinates are 25°55'50.0"S 28°02'45.0"E.
