Construction of the E4 Shaft at the Marikana Operations near Rustenburg, North West. The infrastructure at E4 shaft will include the following: Offices, workshops; change house; parking areas; fuel and lubricant storage facilities; access roads, reef silo (RoM stockpile); emergency throw-out stockpile area; conveyor systems; power lines and 11kV substation; two additional ventilation shafts; three water storage reservoirs; on-shaft storage dams; waste water treatment plant; potable water treatment plant and storm water management infrastructure.
