Construction of the FE Governors Kop Wind Energy Facility and associated infrastructure located on Portion 1 of the farm The Hills 206, Portion 1 of the Farm 220, Portion 1 RE of the Farm 223, Portion 1 of the farm Governor’s Kop 224, Portions 1 RE, 2 and 3 of the farm Stony Vale 359, Portions 4, 5 RE and 8 of the farm Collingham 226, RE of the farm Spitzkop 217, RE of the Farm 220, Remaining Extent of the farm Governor’s Kop 224, RE of the farm The Orchards 233 and RE of the Farm 615, approximately 17km north of northeast of Makhanda within the Makana Local Municipality, Eastern Cape. The wind farm will consist of 37 wind turbines, with a generation capacity of 296MW, which will feed into the National Grid. The GPS co-ordinates are 33°15'19.7"S 26°42'29.2"E.
