About this development
Construction of the Ga-Machacha Solar 4 Photovoltaic Solar Energy Facility on Portion 0 of the Farm Scheepersrust 771 KS, located approximately 11km south of Ga-Nkoana and 20km north west of Jane Furse, within the Tubatse Fetakgomo Locale Municipality and within the Sekhukhune District Municipality, Limpopo. The solar PV facility will comprise of solar PV arrays, modules and mounting structures, inverter and transformers, cabling between the project components, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), on-site facility substation, access and internal roads of up to 6m wide and temporary and permanent O&M and laydown areas will have a contracted capacity of up to 180MW and will cover approximately 223ha. The GPS has been been placed within the area of construction 24°33'43.6"S 29°48'21.0"E
