Expansion of the terminal at George Airport, located on Old Mossel Bay Road, George, Western Cape. For the value of R974 million. The scope of works includes but is not limited to: Terminal Expansion - The expansion of the existing terminal building to accommodate increased passenger traffic. Terminal Renovation - This will involve the renovation of the existing terminal building to improve passenger experience, upgrade facilities, upgrade the information technology systems used to manage the terminal (baggage handling systems, IT systems (BMS), security systems and the passenger processing systems. It also involves the design and installation of building services, such as HVAC, lighting, power, plumbing and fire systems. This will involve the ACSA requirement of delivering a 4 Green Star Certified Building for the project. The GPS co-ordinates are 34°00'04.4"S 22°23'00.4"E.
