Construction of the Greater Mbizana water supply project, Phase 1B, Contract 5 in Ward 19 in Mbizana, Eastern Cape. CIDB 8CE. The scope of works includes: Construct the reticulation system to the upgraded 100m radius standpipe level of service. Site clearance, excavations of trenches. Construction of 665m of 250mm diameter mPVC CL9 water pipes, 2km of 160mm diameter mPVC CL9 water pipes, 4.15km of 110mm diameter mPVC CL9 water pipes, 4.9km of 75mm diameter mPVC CL9 water pipes, 6.7m of 63mm diameter HDPe CL10 water pipes, 29km of 50mm diameter HDPe CL10 water pipes, installation of 276 standpipes. Construction of valve chambers and assemblies. Development of 5 boreholes including equipment and rising mains to feed each of the proposed and existing reservoirs The exact GPS co-ordinates are not available and the marker has been placed at the Nomlacu WTW 30°50'16.4"S 29°46'20.4"E.
