Construction of the Lufhereng 30ML reservoir and associated stage 1 of the Lufhereng Link water infrastructure works located at Lufhereng west of Soweto, south of Slovoville and north of Protea Glen, Soweto, Gauteng. Scope of the works involve site earthworks, 30ML reinforced concrete reservoir and associated telemetry, construction of valve chambers and associated fittings, steel x42 pipeline consisting of 484m of pipes: 550mm diameter (t=5) = 263m, 750mm diameter (t=6) = 37m, 900mm diameter (t=8) = 154m, 1200mm diameter (t=12) = 160m, Solvent free epoxy lined visco-elastic polyisobutene (STOPAQ) coated pipelines, 600mm diameter concrete spigot and socket pipelines consisting of 239m of pipes.
