About this development
Construction of the Lukwethu Regional Water Supply Scheme, Phase 2, Contract 2 for the surrounding villages in Ward 26 and 35, in the OR Tambo District Municipality, Mthatha, Eastern Cape. CIDB 7CE. The villages are: Qokolweni, Mahlubini, Nkominco, Mrhotshozweni, Ngcwala, and Muliso. The scope of works could include but not limited to: supply, delivery, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of village water reticulation pipelines comprising approximately 43.83km in total length, made up of approximately 34.77km HDPE pipelines, diameters ranging from 50mm to 75mm, PN10 pressure class and approximately 9.06km uPVC pipelines, diameters ranging from 90mm to 200mm, Class 9 pressure rating. The GPS location has been placed in Qokolweni Village 31°42'51.0"S 28°47'13.3"E.
