About this development
Construction and renovation of Menlyn Park residential development on the corner of Garsfontein Road and Lois Avenue, Erf 2884 Newlands Extension 1, Pretoria, Gauteng. Contract value is R850 million. Scope of works: Phase 1 consisting of Blocks 1, 2 and 3: conversion of existing 3–4 storey buildings into one‑, two‑bedroom and studio residential units using lightweight blockwork. Construction of a new 4‑storey walk‑up building comprising 96 units using precast slab systems. Phase 2 consisting of Blocks 4, 5 and 6: construction of new multi‑storey residential buildings using concrete shear walls, suspended slabs and infill brickwork, including basement parking levels. Blocks 4 and 6 will incorporate rooftop entertainment areas, with Block 6 featuring open‑plan parking at ground level and eight storeys above. GPS coordinates 25°47'11.8"S 28°16'29.7"E
