Construction of jet fuel feeder lines at the OR Tambo International fuelling services site on Jones Road, Kempton Park, Gauteng. CIDB 8CE. The scope of work involves the procurement of materials, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of two 20” jet fuel feeder lines, 500mm diameter, 1.8km long and installed approximately 1.7m underground. From the fuel depot, the pipeline crosses the service road at super-south gate and further crosses Bravo, India and Lima taxiways before terminating at the valve chamber VCM1. The project will be divided into two phases; Phase 1 for the installation of 1st 20” pipeline expected to be completed by 31 March 2026, and phase 2 for installation of the 2nd 20” pipeline expected to be completed 9 months upon completion of the 1st phase.
