Construction of a new 2100m long runway and associated facilities at Rodrigues Airport in Mauritius. Concurrently other facilities will be constructed, such as a new Air Traffic Control Tower, Meteo Building, Quarantine Building, Power Centre, Incinerator Building, Rescue and Fire Fighting Station, Boat House, Ramp and Jetty, Utilities Networks, etc. The project is set to receive funding through a loan of $184 million from the World Bank and a grant of approximately €16 million from the EU.
