About this development
The Tumela 15E extension project is a deeper extension of the existing 15E dropdown mining project and continues the 15E mechanization dropdown project at Amandelbult mine complex in Limpopo. The project will primarily be supported by the existing Tumlea 15E infrastructure for personnel and material. However, new surface infrastrurre will be required for ventilation and rock and handling to support the increase in tonnages. Amandelbult mine is situated approximately 15km northeast of Northam and 30km southwest of Thabazimbi in the Thabazimbi Local Municipality and the Waterberg District Municipality.
