About this development
Upgrading of the civil and structural works of the De Doorns Water Treatment Works to 6ML/day, located in de Doorns, Western Cape. Contract value of R40 914 972,62. The works includes, but not limited to, the construction of platforms and earthworks for the respective structures, concrete works pertaining to the construction of DAFF tanks, flash and flocculation tanks and other concrete structures. Building works include for a admin and process control building and demolition work as required and internal access ways as well as interlinking pipework to new infrastructure elements. All works are within the existing treatment plant area, and the plant shall remain operational through all construction activities. The GPS co-ordinates of the WTW is 33°29'10.2"S 19°40'00.2"E
