Periodic maintenance of DR1435, DR1438 and DR1489, located in Hex River Valley, between Sandhills and Orchard within the Breede Valley Municipality of the Western Cape. CIDB 8CE. Scope of works could include but not limited to: The maintenance and upgrading works on DR1435 from km 0.0 to 9.66, DR1489 from km 0.0 to 1.03, and DR1438 from km 0.5 to 3.22. The works include the construction and rehabilitation of surfaced and gravel shoulders, maintenance of a surfaced two-lane carriageway, the construction of bridges at km 0.38 and km 0.53 on DR1489, a major culvert at km 1.03 on DR1489 and at km 9.61 on DR1435, as well as improvement works to Bridge B0507 over the Hex River on DR1438.
