About this development
Construction of special maintenance of National Route 14 section 5 from Adeisestad at km 40.0 to Miershoop at km 80.0 and from Paleisheuwel at km 120.0 to Olifantshoek at km 166.038 in District Municipalities of ZF Mgcawu and John Taolo Gaetsewe in the Northern Cape. Scope of works could include: Form of rehabilitation/strengthening of certain areas over the project length while the remaining length will require a periodic maintenance including widening to a minimum cross section of 9.4m. The periodic maintenance will most probably take the form of appropriate localised repair and pre-treatment of the existing surface followed by the construction of an appropriate surface seal and/or asphalt overlay. The exact GPS location is not known and the marker has been placed on the N14, along the possible route of construction 28°21'50.8"S 21°37'14.3"E
