About this development
Construction of the Rondebosch Solar Park located on RE Portion 2 of the Farm Rondebosch 403 JS and Portion 196 of the Farm Rondebosch 403 JS within the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality, Mpumalanga. The solar PV facility will comprise of PV modules, mounting systems for the PV arrays, internal cablng and string boxes, workshops and warehouses, one on-site high-voltage substation with high-voltage power transformers, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), internal roads, fencing of the site and alarm and video-surveillance system, water access points and patented sewage system and will have a contracted capacity of up to 240MW and will cover approximately 376ha. The GPS has been estimated at Farm Rondebosch 403 25°45'35.9"S 29°33'21.5"E.
