About this development
Construction of a Centralised Interim Storage Facility located at the Vaalputs National Radioactive Waste Disposal Facility, Vaalputs, Northern Cape. The scope of work for the CISF includes siting, design, licensing, construction and related activities, also further covers a contractual strategy for the procurement of spent fuel storage equipment and other storage facility subsystems including storage pad/building, fencing, security and monitoring systems etc. The GPS marker has been placed at the location of the works 30°08'23.4"S 18°34'25.9"E
