Construction of Phase 1 of the Vaal International Airport located within Emfuleni Municipality, Sedibeng District, Gauteng. Phase 1 will involve the development of a single runway spanning 4.2km, a passenger terminal with a capacity of seven million passengers per year, and a cargo terminal with the capacity to handle 150 million tonnes annually. The project will have 3 phases all together, built from the year 2028 to 2048. The exact GPS coordinates are currently unavailable however the GPS marker has been placed in the general vicinity of Grasmere Plaza (South) along the N1 Motorway, as this is the general area that is designated for the development.
