About this development
Walter Sisulu University's upgrade to the Dwesa Marine Research Facility/Station located within the Dwesa Nature Reserve near Ngomana village in the Mbhashe Municipal area, Eastern Cape. CIDB: 7GB. The proposed upgrades to the Marine Research Facility will include: Accommodation for 15 students and 5 researchers. Lecture room. Research laboratories and culture facilities. Water storage (potable water and sea water). Septic tank replacement. Demolish existing timber structure complete (on stilts). Two new and separate structures. Laboratory – Ground Floor only: 79m2. Suites 1- 6 / Multi Purpose Room – Ground Floor & First Floor: 239m2. The GPS co-ordinates are 32°18'35.1"S 28°49'38.5"E.
