Construction of the Banken Wind Energy Facility 1, located on the Remainder of Farm Banken 91 and the Remainder of Portion 1 of Farm Banken 91, approximately 25km south of Aggeneys, Northern Cape. The proposed development will have a capacity of up to 300MW from up to 42 turbines. The associated infrastructure will include but is not limited to an on-site facility sub-station, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), main and internal access roads, operation & maintenance buildings.
