Banken WEF 2

Construction of the Banken Wind Energy Facility 2, located on the Remainder of Farm Struisbult 94 and Portion 1 of Farm Struisbult 94, approximately 25km south of Aggeneys, Northern Cape. The proposed development will have a capacity of up to 300MW from up to 42 turbines. The associated infrastructure will include but is not limited to an on-site facility sub-station, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), main and internal access roads, Operation & Maintenance buildings.
