G-Fleet Phase 2

Construction works, Phase 2, Stage 1 for the additions and refurbishments to the G-Fleet Bedfordview Complex, Portion 356 of farm Elandsfontein, Germiston, Johannesburg, Gauteng. CIDB 8GB. The scope of works involves refurbishment of Building E (Visitors Centre), Building K - new head office, Building A - head office building are to be constructed on the empty land at the south western corner of the site. This building will house all administrative functions and will accommodate staff currently located off site. Building L - Auction House building, Western gatehouse and Auction building. A new gatehouse and auction building are to be erected at the Western entrance to the site. The gate house will control movement of vehicles and people accessing the apartments and auction events. Parking is to be provided for auctions at the existing unpaved area, so that visitors’ vehicles no longer access the site. People attending the auctions will enter via a turnstile to be provided adjacent to the gatehouse. The auction building has been introduced to provide a waiting area and offices for auction events. Further fencing and an additional gate will limit movement of auction attendees to the auction yards while preventing access to the rest of the operational site. Services to building E,K & L - electrical & electronics installations, mechanical installations, fire and wet services installations. External works include new boundary wall and renovations to existing boundary and retaining walls. The GPS coordinates are 26°10'01.4"S 28°08'10.4"E
