About this development
Civil and services installation at the existing Scania Hilltop facility on Erf 126 Henville, Ext 10 at the corner of Reef Road and Sam Green Road, Sunnyridge, Germiston, Gauteng. The scope of works: General bulk earthworks, road subgrade earthworks, stormwater drainage, concrete works, roads, segmented pavings, bases, kerbing and channelling. The works for bulk earthwork quantities are as follows: removal of interlocking pavers where new hardstand is to be constructed, development of new parking area, rip and re-compact “roadbed” to nominal depth of 150mm, re-compact to 93% Mod. AASHTO – 5085m². The works for roads and parking areas are as follows: Concrete hardstand area, 80mm interlocking pavers parking area and new pavers to be installed for second hand truck sales area, 60mm interlocking pavers parking area and re-use pavers removed for new concrete hardstand for car parking area, allowance to be made for kerbs and edge beams and allowance to be made for road markings. The works for stormwater are as follows: Allowance to be made for reinstating 2x existing stormwater grid inlets in the concrete hardstand area.
