Ga Rankuwa Zone 4

Upgrading of roads and stormwater systems in Ga-Rankuwa Zone 4, Phase 2, Pretoria, Gauteng. The contract value is R37 373 666.88. The project involves the upgrading of residential streets in Garankuwa Zone 4. Extent of the works are as follows: grubbing, mass earthworks for the roads, excavation (soft, intermediate and hard rock) for stormwater pipes, watering of bypasses, roadbed preparation, layer works, stormwater pipe laying and backfilling, asphalt surfacing, cleaning of existing stormwater systems. Labour intensive construction (LIC): selected trench excavations, pipe laying smaller than 200 diameter(service ducts), erection of traffic signs and markings, bedding, manholes and junction boxes, construction of inlet, and outlet structures, paving for walkways and edge beams and kerbing.
