Construction of the Leghoya 2 wind energy farm located on Portion RE, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 11 of Farm Bloemfontein 132, Portion 16 of Farm Jan Hendriksfontein 263, Portion RE, 1, 2, 3, 6 and 8 of Farm Joubertsvlei 260, Portion RE, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 16 of Farm Kranspan 131, Farm La Vita 341, Portion RE, RE 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 of Farm Leliefontein 136, Portion RE, RE 2 and 7 of Farm Meppel 264, Farm Republiek 123, Portion RE and 1 of Farm Swaarbou 256, Portion 1 of The Farm La Brie 544, Portion RE 1, RE 3, 17, 46, 83, 89, 92, 107, 142 and 148 of Farm Van Oudshoornstroom 261, Portion 27, 29, 31, 38, 39 and 53 of Farm Witbank 262 and Portion RE, 1 and 2 of Farm Witbank 538 approximately 6km north-east of Ermelo, in Mpumalanga. The wind farm will comprise of 33 wind turbines, permanent roads will be 8m wide and over above this may require side drains up to 2m wide on one or both sides depending on the topography, up to 20m wide road corridor may be impacted during construction and partly rehabilitated to retain a permanent 8m road surface with 2m drain after construction and underground cabling, battery energy storage system (BESS), O&M areas which will include offices, stores, workshops and laydown areas and will cover approximately 11331ha. The GPS have been estimated at 26°29'41.6"S 30°05'56.6"E
