About this development
Supply of material and the construction of storm water and environmental systems at Saldanha Bulk Terminal, Saldanha Bay, Western Cape. CIDB 8CE. The scope of work for the project includes the construction of all new stormwater infrastructure and upgrading of the existing network; the delivery to site, off-loading and storage on-site, setting out, execution of the works, testing, commissioning and handing over of new stormwater drainage infrastructure and connecting to and upgrading and repairing of all relevant existing networks; concrete work, structural steelwork and corrosion protection. The site for this specific works consist of 5 locations within the Saldanha Terminal namely: Multi-Purpose Terminal (MPT) Area, Tippler area, Causeway area, Rail Embankment area and Stockpile area. The GPS co-ordinates have been placed at the Tippler area 32°59'49.0"S 17°59'56.0"E.
