About this development
Construction of the photovoltaic solar facility on Portion 54 of the Farm Amersfoort Town and Townlands No. 57, approximately 3km southwest of the town of Amersfoort in the Pixley Ka Isaka Seme Local Municipality area and greater Gert Sibande District Municipality, Mpumalanga Province. The solar power plant will include the following infrastructure: PV modules and mounting structures, inverters and transformers, battery energy storage system (BESS), site and internal access roads, operation and maintenance buildings including a gate house and security building, control centre, offices, warehouses and workshops for storage and maintenance.
