About this development
Construction of Ummbila Emoyeni Five Wind Energy Facility and associated infrastructure approximately 8km east of Morgenzon within the Lekwa Local Municipality, Gert Sibande District Municipality, Mpumalanga. The development site is located on Portion 5 RE, 6 - 8 of Farm Klipkraal 469; Portion 2 - 4 , 7, 8, 11 - 13, 15 - 19 of Farm Vaalbank 456; Portion 1, 4, 22 RE, 23 RE of Farm Roodekrans 457, Portion 1 RE, 4 RE, 5 - 7 RE, 8, 10; Portion 1 of Farm Ebenhaezer 455; Portion 2, 10, 11, 18, 25, 26, 29, 31, 32 of Farm Goedgedacht 458. The proposed project forms part of the broader authorised Ummbila Emoyeni renewable energy development cluster and will have a contracted generation capacity of up to 121MW. The GPS co-ordinates are 26°42'43.3"S 29°39'50.6"E.
