About this development
Construction of the Lukwethu Regional Water Supply Scheme, Phase 2, Contract 12 for the reticulation of the surrounding villages in Ward 28, in the OR Tambo District Municipality, Mthatha, Eastern Cape. CIDB 7CE. The villages are: Jojweni, Macosa, Magelekedle, Gqaqhala, Mpafeni, and Gxojana. The scope of works could include but not limited to: supply, delivery, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of village water reticulation pipelines comprising approximately 48.4km in total length, including: approximately 36.0km HDPE pipelines, diameters ranging from 50mm to 75mm, PN10 pressure class and approximately 12.4km uPVC pipelines, diameters ranging from 90mm to 200mm, Class 9 pressure rating. The GPS location has been placed in Jojweni Village 31°43'19.6"S 28°41'35.8"E.
