About this development
Construction of the Lukwethu Regional Water Supply Scheme, Phase 2, Contract 14 for the reticulation to the surrounding villages in Ward 28, in the OR Tambo District Municipality, Mthatha, Eastern Cape. CIDB 7CE. The villages are: Tafeni B, Upper Cezu, Ntuwe, Kotishini and Newtown. The scope of works could include but not limited to: supply, delivery, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of village water reticulation pipelines comprising approximately 38.2 km in total length, including approximately 28.9 km HDPE pipelines, diameters ranging from 50 mm to 110 mm, PN10 and PN16 pressure classes and approximately 9.3 km uPVC pipelines, diameters ranging from 90 mm to 200 mm, Class 9 pressure rating. The GPS location has been placed at Lukwethu 31°44'41.9"S 28°34'53.4"E
